Vaccine Policy Statement:

The Pocatello Children’s Clinic is committed to keeping kids healthy with routine, preventative care. Immunizations may be the single most important factor in the health of children. We believe in the safety and effectiveness of vaccines to prevent serious illness and save lives.

We recommend that all patients receive routine childhood vaccinations supported by data from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP), and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). The childhood vaccine schedule is recommended based on decades of study from top scientists and data gathered from millions of vaccines given. Our clinic has over 50 years of experience giving vaccinations and administering vaccines to over 10,000 children annually.

We understand that parents may have questions about vaccines, and we believe in partnering with parents to make informed choices. We want to answer your questions and provide trusted medical information. We want you to feel comfortable discussing any questions with our providers.

As healthcare professionals, we believe that vaccinating our patients is the best way to protect children and avoid outbreaks of vaccine-preventable diseases. Feel free to discuss any questions or concerns you may have with any of our providers.
